Isobel's father Vernon. Joined the Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve as a DEMS gunner
during second world War. A DEMS gunner was a trained gunner on a merchant ship

Glenys Gamage, with husband Ted in the backgtround,
standing alongside  Ted's mother Gretta

.Gretta lived to 103 years old and celebrated her 100th in a helicopter ride over Pembrokeshire
