Barrie's Family Oldies
Dates are not entirely specific but for general guidance
   
This is Barrie's great grandfather, Joseph Jones,
born in February 1868.

This was taken outsiide their home in

This is Grand Nan Kings. Barrie's great grandmother on Father's side and mother of Florence, Barrie's Father#s mother...

Grand Nan Kings was the daughter of Sammy Rice - see below - and I have vague memories of her living in Kingsbridge
.  
David John Davies, known as Dad Kings,. Barrie's Father's (Doug) father born in 1893 and here aged about 15 so taken about 1908. Dad Kings was in the navy in the first world warand was involved with the disastrous Gallipoli landings.
This is Sammy Rice, Barrie's geat, great grandfather
- father od Great Nan Kings.
Sammy was a superb rugby footballer
and played for Glamorganshire but
failed to play for Wales because of injury
